I hate any kind of game with fighting and I still made it through. Tl dr: the visual novel aspects of this game are fantastic. At some point when I was fighting off a 40 strong swarm of little green robot things I realized that people who play these sort of games are insane and that after I just get through the battles I am never touching this game ever again. The battles, while fun at the beginning, has traumatized me. On December 21st of 2019, a localized version of the game which includes both Dive1 and Dive2 as a single game is available on Steam. Baldr Sky is not about bald people skydiving, which is disappointment. And they make you go through the last route twice JUST to unlock the 2 minute epilogue. There are so many battles in the last route.

So maybe when these kinds of shows were the norm in the 2000s something like Code Geass didnt feel like anything too special. Lelouchs lies, betrayal, and twisted morality, along with the killing of major characters, wouldnt really exist in anime today, either. All routes except Rain route are locked until you get one of ending in. Koestl has been making steady progress on the game’s translation, having completed Amane’s route, and nearing completion on Sachi’s route. That’ll put the entire project’s translation progress at about 60. I’ve not been doing much work personally on this lately, since the tools are all pretty solid and no major technical issues. The music is fantastic, the plot is intricate (not to mention addictive and long as hell), the world view is vast, the characters are likeable, the older characters are VERY likeable, the art is hit or miss but somehow turned more loli-ish as it went on……. Code Geass represented one of the last of its genre. Character routes in Baldr Sky are semi linear, and Rain route is the very first route you have to play/clear in Baldr Sky. If both games are installed at the same time, Dive2 will carry over saved data and also play the routes in Dive1. The setting is what made Baldr Sky interesting to me. Especially how revelations end up playing out as you keep going through each route and events occur from different point of views. And there are SO many things I can say about this series. The two games together form the complete story. Personally I thought it was amazing because of the politics, world-building and all the events just constantly building on top of each other.
